Is your anxiety leading to distraction?
Sometimes distraction from hard feelings is necessary, but do you find yourself trying to distract yourself from anything that doesn’t feel happy or good? Learning to sit in the discomfort and tolerate the stress will help us to be more resilient and help us get through the things that are outside of our control.
Try to practice this by doing small things that make you uncomfortable like being 5 minutes late, not putting all of your things away when you get home, leaving your laundry unfolded, etc
Doing these small things will help prepare you for bigger feelings that may arise.
